Evaluarea variabilităţii unor caractere morfobiologice şi agronomice la tomate

Abstract. This paper presents the results of assessing a tomato collection (18 genotypes) on the basis of precocity, productivity and some fruit characters. Cluster analysis has shown that genotypes, separated into three clusters, are distinguished based on the fruit mass, fruit length, fruit diameter, mesocarp thickness, pericarp thickness, and number of seed beds. The analysis of the valuable characters of the studied forms revealed a wide variability regarding the duration of the interphase period, the shape of the bush and fruit, the whole yield, the proportion of marketable fruits. This allowed to select the most valuable forms and recommend them for hybridization and to obtain new varieties and hybrids for various uses.

Rezumat. În lucrarea de faţă sunt prezentate rezultatele evaluării unei colecții de tomate (18 genotipuri) in baza precocității, productivității și a unor caractere ale fructului. Analiza clusteriană a demonstrat că genotipurile, separate in 3 clustere, se deosebesc in baza caracterelor masa fructului, lungimea fructului, diametrul fructului, grosimea mezocarpului, grosimea pericarpului, numărul de loje seminale. Analiza caracterelor utile ale formelor studiate din colecție a evidenţiat o variabilitate largă privind durata perioadelor interfazice, forma tufei, fructului, productivitatea generală, cota fructelor marfă, ceea ce permite selectarea și recomandarea celor mai valoroase forme pentru hibridare şi  obţinerea soiurilor şi hibrizilor noi cu diferită destinaţie.
