Exploatarea tractoarelor agricole alimentate cu biocombustibil

Abstract

The paper presents the testing results concerning the operation of agricultural tractors which were divided into two groups: those operating on diesel fuel and others on biofuel B20. The use of biofuel led to obtain performance characteristics in the case of Diesel engines during a seasonal year beginning with the plowing and ending with the harvesting works. The data presented in this paper, such as: oil consumption when combustion takes place, gases escaped into the crankcase, compression in cylinders etc., proved a good functioning as in the case of tractors operating on diesel fuel
